Production Scheduler – WA

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:  The duties of the Production Scheduler include but are not limited to:

  • Schedule and release manufacture orders to production.
  • Maintain schedules for single and multi-level assemblies.
  • Evaluate held jobs and late starts to determine root cause of delays.
  • Evaluate available hours against current and future loads to determine near and short term required actions.
  • Support production by analyzing any changes to WIP resulting from scrap, over-production, customer due date changes, or preferred lot sizes (in-plant /out-plant)

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years’ related experience in a production control environment, including scheduling duties.
  • Knowledge of how MRP systems operate and experience in creating and releasing manufacture orders to a shop floor is critical.
  • Fusion MRP experience beneficial
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience in high-pace manufacturing environment and the ability to rapidly learn new systems and procedures.
  • Excellent team communication, human relations and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communications skills.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Physical requirements of the position include the ability to push, pull, lift, stack and carry materials weighing up to 30 pounds regularly, and up to 40 pounds occasionally and with assistance if needed.  This position requires standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, climbing (stairs) squatting, reaching and grasping constantly.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

 

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Read, write, understand and speak English Fluently
